ECB, as local organising committee for the ICC Champions Trophy, England & Wales, 2013, were looking for a creative agency to work with their creative campaign and implement it for venue specific and media specific material – print and digital.
The key objectives were speed and efficiency so that ECB could respond quickly to marketing opportunities as and when they arose.
Tobasgo was appointed to fulfil this role, the first task being to design and specifically manage the ticket creative in partnership with Ticketmaster and the ECB ticketing team.
Work extended to creating branding for the event volunteers, the ‘Cricketeers’, eNews templates for CRM agency Two Circles, online digital advertising, outdoor digital and print advertising for Birmingham (working with Marketing Birmingham), street dressing for both Birmingham and Cardiff, press advertising in Metro, Saturday Times and Telegraph right through to car park passes.
Publications included the Media Guide, Tournament Handbook, ‘Cricketeers’ guides and Event Guides – design, print and fulfilment.
Throughout the project, strong account management was vital to guarantee on time, on budget delivery – working with LOC ECB and event authority, ICC.
