Using your mobile phone to make and receive calls or send a text inflight, once a rarity, is now commonplace on airlines.
However, if you’re flying within US airspace, then keep your phone switched to Flight Mode as the use of phones inflight is still banned, an odd policy given that phones are commonplace on trains and buses. With AT&T launching an inflight 4G data service next year, maybe Congress will think again.
